The Irene Gyulnazarian Educational Fund for Armenia (IGEFA) started in 2003 as a living memorial to Irene Gyulnazarian.

IGEFA is a 501(c)/3 nonprofit organization dedicated to support academic and cultural institutions, to help improve the quality of education and to encourage civil society in Armenia.

IGEFA already has a successfully established track record of serving community by providing scholarship to gifted and underprivileged students. We also provide opportunities for children to participate in many exciting educational programs like TUMO Summer Camp or Healthy Smile project. Talented young poets are recognized annually at the Writer’s Union Award event, which is another beautiful tradition established by IGEFA. more about our us
